EVERYONE’S A CHUCK
Coca-Cola x Converse
In 1932, Converse introduced the world’s first signature sneaker: the Chuck Taylor All Star. For nearly a century, its iconic ankle patch has featured the star and one signature – Chuck Taylor’s. But the Chuck Taylor was never just Chuck Taylor’s. It always belonged to the people who wore it. So when Coca-Cola and Converse came together for a collaboration, we did the unthinkable. We removed the star and Chuck’s signature, to make space for everyone to add their own name.
Vince Staples was the first to sign in our hero film. Then, we signed on the world.
Most collabs just slap two names on a product. We did the opposite and removed one. Once a pro model for one, now a pro model for everyone. Because there’s only one All Star, but Everyone’s a Chuck.
